Chrysler and Dodge haven’t made firm announcements of EVs for next year, but they have introduced electric concepts to be arriving in the next few years. While Chrysler hasn’t made any concrete vehicle announcements for the 2024 model year, they did recently announce their concept for the Chrysler Airflow, a fully-electric minivan that’s designed as a battery electric “twin” to the Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid. The Airflow will be available in Arctic White and Graphite, with crystal LED lighting, a high-tech interior, and a sleek aerodynamic design that maximizes performance on the Mesquite, NV roads. Chrysler has announced that the Airflow will be powered by two 150KW electronic driving modules, offering 400 miles of range and featuring limited hands-free driving technology.
Jeep will release two fully-electric vehicles in 2024 to join its current lineup of plug-in hybrid SUVs. The company recently announced plans for four fully-electric vehicles by 2025, and the first two models will be the Jeep Recon and the Wagoneer S. The Jeep Recon is based on the legendary Jeep Wrangler, blending the latest electric innovations with classic Jeep performance and off-roading. The Wagoneer S will be an electrified variant of the Wagoneer full-size SUV, with an estimated combined range of 500 miles. They’ll join the 2024 Jeep 4xe Wrangler and the 2024 Jeep 4xe Grand Cherokee, two plug-in hybrid variants of the standard Wrangler and Grand Cherokee.
Like Chrysler, Dodge has not made concrete announcements about electric vehicles in 2024, but they did recently show a prototype for an EV muscle car that will outperform even the most robust gasoline powertrain! Dodge has announced that they’ll be rolling out a new generation of their iconic muscle cars over the next two years, with more reveals forthcoming.
Finally, let’s take a look at what RAM is offering in terms of electric power. The first-ever RAM EV will be the RAM 1500 REV, a fully-electric pickup truck that boasts a sleek new design, next-level luxury inside the cabin, and plenty of smart charging options. And if your vehicle is fully-charged and the electric grid goes down, you can actually use it to power your home or another vehicle! The RAM EV is expected in Q4 of 2024.
